Tennis Club Kordin (TCK) is a non-profit organisation. This means that all the work done in and around our club is done on a voluntary basis. All the Committee Members behind the success of the club pour their hearts into the club, making it even more special. The love for the sport makes the team work day and night, making Tennis Club Kordin one of the best tennis clubs in Malta.

Top Notch Facilities In and Around the Tennis Courts

The Committee believes that the tennis experience doesn’t end on the court. You deserve the absolute best and as a result, our efforts are continuous in ensuring that members have access to the best facilities. At TCK, one can find:

Fingerprint Gate Access for all-round tennis court bookings. This is an add-on that allows you flexibility in court bookings, enabling you to book courts outside normal club hours. So if you want to hit a few balls before work, then the tennis courts at TCK are your go to destination.
Automated External Defibrillator which is also known as an AED. Safety is no joke, and as a result, we have installed this life saving device that is fully automated. In case you need to use it, don’t panic. The device will guide you with clear step by step instructions in case a person goes into a cardiac arrest.
Weather Station to allow you to monitor the weather conditions at Tennis Club Kordin. We are proud to have been the first tennis club to have had this device installed within our tennis courts in Malta.

Compete and Win Glory in Various Tennis Competitions

Yes, TCK is a friendly and social tennis club. However, there are plenty of tennis competitions in which members can play. In total, we have three types of tournaments, all sanctioned by the Malta Tennis Federation:

Club Tournaments, hosted mainly for club members. If you’re not a member, you can still join in at an additional cost. Just reach out to us and we’ll guide you.
Open Tournaments, which are perhaps the bigger tennis competitions we host every year. Sanctioned by the Malta Tennis Federation, we see players from various clubs and countries play on our blue-green tennis courts. In total, there are two tennis tournaments of this style, one for the seniors and another for the juniors.
ITF and Tennis Europe International Tournaments, which target juniors and are categorised according to age. Year after year, the club welcomes with its open arms, tens and hundreds of young, aspiring tennis players from around Europe. During these tennis tournaments and events, we tend to witness the future of tennis. As a matter of fact, the Carota Boy himself, Jannik Sinner, participated in our ITF (International Tennis Federation) tournament back in 2017; powering through to the semifinals under the hot Maltese sun.

Get Tennis Coaching Lessons From Qualified Coaches

Here at TCK, we want to safeguard the future of tennis. As a result, it is a priority for us to offer you coaching sessions from qualified tennis coaches. In the past few years, Tennis Club Kordin entered into a partnership with a tennis academy, Esther’s Tennis School.

The school was founded by Esther Muscat, a remarkable player who represented our country numerous times in the past. She made it her mission to provide a holistic approach to the game of tennis, including theory as well as off-court physical sessions for the players.

Thanks to the tennis academy, our tennis club has seen plenty of children grow fond of the sport, and some even had the chance to represent our country abroad. And no, the school doesn’t cater only to young players. If you’re an adult or a senior, you can get tennis coaching with specialised and licensed coaches. It is never too late to start playing tennis!

By becoming a member, you’re investing in our tennis club, helping us become the best tennis club in Malta. Our plan is to reduce our carbon footprint and this is already being done, with more work being in the process.

We have 96 solar panels installed around our tennis club.
We have switched to LED lights, wasting less resources.
We have an automated lighting system that controls the lights and switches them on and off to reduce wasteful consumption.
We have planted 17 trees in and around our tennis club.

The Committee sees the project as an ongoing project. Apart from reducing our carbon footprint, it also lowers our operating costs. This ensured your membership fees to remain affordable and low, in a time where prices are constantly on the rise.
